Country Singer Scotty Mccreery
“We’re always thrilled to welcome country music’s favorite artists to The Event Center stage,” said Wendy Hamilton, general manager of SugarHouse Casino. “Scotty McCreery is an exceptionally talented singer/songwriter with a fantastic stage presence.”
McCreery made history when his first album, “Clear as Day,” debuted at No. 1 on the all-genre Billboard Top 200 albums chart. He was the youngest male artist of any musical genre and the first country music artist to accomplish that feat with his first project. “Clear as Day” became the best-selling solo album released by a country artist in 2011. McCreery’s first two singles from that album, “I Love You This Big” and “The Trouble With Girls,” are both certified Platinum, with “The Trouble With Girls” earning McCreery the CMT USA Weekend Breakthrough Video of the Year in 2012. His second studio album, “See You Tonight,” featured two Top 10 hits — the Platinum-certified title cut and the Gold-certified “Feelin’ It.”
Tickets for McCreery’s show, and for all SugarHouse performances, including Creedence Clearwater Revisited (June 30), Golden Boys (July 21), Kellie Pickler (Aug. 5) and Rick Schuler’s tribute to John Denver (Aug. 26) can be purchased at the SugarHouse Casino headliners concert page.
